    “2 night break”

Check in wasn't ideal - it was pouring with rain when we arrived which I appreciate made it harder, we weren't sure where to park as it wasn't clear from the signs that there were B&B parking spaces around the corner. We were told to go to the bar to check in, so ended up carrying our bags up to the bar, which was packed (due to the weather) and had to queue at the bar with a lot of other people to check in. Luckily someone let me push in or we could have been waiting a while.
Room was lovely and clean, however given it's an area for walking it would have been helpful to have some hooks on the wall for coats (just to keep separate from clothes in the wardrobe) and somewhere to dry out shoes. Also unfortunately the bed was really uncomfortable/soft - and it was 2 beds pushed together but I'm not sure they were supposed to be attached - they just seemed to be 2 completely separate beds so there was a ridge down the middle where they met.
Breakfast was lovely, really well cooked. Service in the cafe was OK - staff were polite but not overly helpful and seemed to struggle a bit if there were more than a few customers.
Overall was a lovely stay, beautiful countryside, nice B&B, reasonable price.
