Notes

Skiddaw House is a remote, mountain hostel, situated 3.5 miles from the nearest car park/road therefore wheelchair-bound and totally blind people cannot really access it. The hostel os not connected to the national grid and has battery lights only. The hostel is closed between 1000 and 1700 but the staff is available at all other times.
