“Very comfortable stay in a lovely room”

The hotel is a very comfortable well-appointed hotel with bar and restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us and our dog. It is very convenient as a stop close to the M6 but also for visiting the western Lake District. We felt the restaurant was a bit over-priced and some of the food was disappointing. Overall we had a lovely stay.
