Wirksworth Heritage Centre is open on Friday and Saturday Bank Holiday/Festival weekends and by appointment for group tours.
School/group bookings are available all year - please contact Lucy Godfrey for details.


Entry cost: Adults £3.00, Over 60s £2.00, Children £1.00, Family (2 adults & up to 3 children) £7.00
10% discount for groups of 10 or more.

From the A6 turn onto the B5036 and go through Cromford. Continue up the hill towards Wirksworth, under an old railway bridge and down towards Wirksworth. As you approach the centre of Wirksworth, before a footbridge over the road, there is a garage on the right hand side which has a car park. There is also parking on the Market Square and off Coldwell Street behind the Vaults pub.
The number 61 bus from Bakewell to Derby stops at Wirksworth.
