Opening details

The red brick building with a distinctive Dutch gable front elevation is set centrally in over 20 acres of mature gardens and woodland. Harcombe House was used as both an air raid shelter and hospital during the war and used to have a red cross on the roof to notify overhead planes. The kitchens used to be open to the public for the sale of wine, fruit and vegetables produced on the estate.

The house has been extensively redecorated and modernised by the current owners over the past few years.

Within the grounds, there is a 1 acre fishing lake and lawn tennis courts.
