VisitEngland 4 Star Inn

All the national assessing bodies (VisitEngland*, VisitScotland, Visit Wales and the AA) now assess hotels and guest accommodation (including B&Bs) to the same criteria and award one to five stars. The star ratings reflect the overall quality of the experience. When choosing your accommodation look for the Quality Rose, the official marque of the Enjoy England national tourist board rating scheme.

A Spa whose sole purpose is to provide guests with lifestyle improvements and health enhancement through professionally administered Spa services, including physical fitness, education and nutritional advice on a mainly residential basis

AA 2 Rosettes

Rosettes are awarded annually to AA inspected restaurants for the quality of their food. Most star-rated hotels have their own restaurants and we also inspect these. Not all restaurants receive an AA award, but will generally serve enjoyable food of a reasonable standard.
